For those sports fans out there, the last two years have been big news. In 2010 there was the Soccer World Cup held in South Africa, and this year it's the turn of the Rugby World Cup, being held in New Zealand. There are few counties in the world who take their sport more seriously than Scotland, and that goes double when speaking about rugby.
When the Soccer World Cup came around people went out and bought high definition televisions so that they could see the amazing goals in as clear a picture as possible. But once you have your shiny new HD television where is there to go from there?
The only, more extreme option available to you to better see the exciting tries of the Rugby World Cup would be to have laser eye surgery. This is, of course, only in jest, HD really is clear enough to see all of the tries bound to be scored by Scotland.
Sport has the most amazing capacity to bring a nation together. Even with the economic situation the way it is, or perhaps because of it, people are uniting behind their national teams.
When Scotland wins, the whole county yells with joy, and perhaps drinks another pint. When Scotland loses, the whole country cries, and has a whiskey. A whole nation united behind a small sports team proudly representing them.
